KARODUR Wirkteller GmbH

The KARODUR Wirkteller GmbH is a leading German company in waterjet cutting technology with over 15 years of experience. The composite panels (pressed sheets) manufactured by KARODUR Pressplatten are mechanically processed here by water jet cutting in 2D or 3D.
With the product from “Wirkteller” special plastic moulds for dough products of the baking industry, is KARODUR world market leader and the only manufacturer in Europe.

KARODUR Pressplatten GmbH

The KARODUR Pressplatten GmbH produces since 2002 from PVC and PP pressed sheets. Particular well developed business here is pressed sheets from chlorinated PVC (CPVC). In Europe is KARODUR Pressplatten GmbH for several years the only manufacturer of extruded PVC sheets and sought-after partner for thicker panels – PVC with up to 100 millimeters and above. The thermoplastic composites which are manufactured by KARODUR are exported worldwide.
Especially with specific customer requirements is KARODUR a popular Partner. Together with the customer, the company developed thermoplastic and other composites for security technology, aerospace and automotive industry.

KARODUR is strong in terms of environmental

• 2009 Karodur received the Entrepreneur Award “energy” for the plastics industry, probably first use of gas instead of electricity for the heating of pressing plants.
• 2010 awarded NRW Environment Minister Johannes Remmel, the award “Ecoprofit 2010” for their integrated environmental technology.

Future of KARODUR

By permanent development KARODUR will be able in the near future to offer thermoplastic composites from a family of materials, with the advantage of the 100% recyclability / reusability. In order to achieve extremely high strengths, trials run and tests are carried out with thermal / Duo mixtures.
